100% Air Rinsing and 100% Automatic Internal and External 360° Vision Inspection of Infant Formula Cans.

In conjunction with FSSC 22000 certification, NCI is also one of the first can makers in ANZ to introduce air rinsing and automatic can vision inspection into
the manufacture of empty infant formula milk powder cans. The state-of-the art Eagle Vision system scans and rejects any can at high production speed for
any imperfection both internally and externally. It even rejects a can with an imperfection both internally and externally. It even rejects a can with an imperfection not obvious to the naked eye.

This provides a comprehensive “Baby-Safe” system for premium infant formula cans. It covers the sole use of premium Japanese tinplate, fully European-tested compliant inks and BPAFNI coatings, secure in-house artwork prepress, high quality can coating and printing, high speed blue and white-dot can-end
production, multi-platform can forming, unique anti-counterfeit and track-and trace coding, air rinsing, internal and external 360° vision inspection and food-safe distribution. All these processes are carried out on a single site at NCI Packaging’s Auckland plant.

Our unique “Baby-Safe” system therefore means we own all these processes and nothing is left to chance. This ensures that each and every infant formula can from NCI would meet the highest standards, as demanded by a rapidly growing yet anxious market.
